Dedicated to caring for unwanted and abused animals in Littleton and the surrounding areas of Northern New Hampshire and Vermont.
ATNHA was founded in September of 2001 and is a not-for profit 501©3 organization.
This is the picture of our new booth, now located at the Farmers' Market.

Ongoing Programs
ATNHS is working to educate the public about responsible pet ownership. We have developed age-appropriate school programs to teach yough proper care of pets, a nursing home program to provide comfort to the elderly and disabled, a program to provide pet food for low-income families, and we offer rabies clinics. We also provide medical treatment for stray and abused animals, and assist in their placement in new and loving homes.
Our Future
We are currently working on obtaining grant funding to provide our region with low-cost spay/neuter programs. We will continue our research to determine the feasibility of building an area shelter.
Cooperation and help from local veterinarians, animal control officers and foster families for housing needy animals is a constant and ongoing process.

Remember... you can help! As a non-profit, all volunteer organization we are dependent solely on donated funds for our existence. Without your support we can not provide the care and housing for the homeless and abused animals or continue our valuable programs. Tax deductible donations of any amount are greatly appreciated... and donation of time is also greatly appreciated.
