Littleton Basketball played at home against Groveton High School Wednesday, February 13. These were the last home games of the regular season and they were the last home games for the senior class. There was a big senior celebratory event before the games congratulating the seniors. The Lady Crusaders were looking to continue their undefeated season as this was one of the bigger games left on their schedule. The game started really slow with a lot of passing from both the Groveton girls side and the Littleton Girls side. The Littleton girls had a rough start but got into a groove especially when the bench players checked into the game. They went on a little run and as soon as they got the lead they never looked back. The final score was Littleton 42 Groveton 30.

The Littleton Boys were up next, and they played outstandingly. Danny Kubkowski took the game over, he dominated scoring 33 points. Austin Lesperance ended the game with 9 points as he was just 2 points shy of scoring over 1000 career points. He will look to do that in their next game as their season is not yet finished. Brody Fillion played phenomenally as he scored a season high of 10 points, but the Groveton Eagles played hard, but could not find an answer for Kubkowski. The Littleton Boys won with a final score of Littleton 64 Groveton 58.

With soccer playoffs around the corner, Littleton has started playing very well at the right time. With the girls who recently had an 8-game winning streak interrupted by a Gorham tie, and the boys are continuing a nice little 4 game winning streak.

Both the girls and boys soccer teams took on the Gorham Huskies Friday October 6. The boys had complete command over their game but had a tough time putting the ball in the back of the net with only scoring 2 goals in a 2-0 shutout win. In the girl’s game it was a tough matchup ending in a tie after two overtimes.

Varsity field hockey had two difficult games against White Mtn. Regional, as well as John Stark Regional high school. With two well-fought games they came out with 2 losses with both scores being 2-0. They look to win in their final game of the season Friday October 13.

Varsity boys Golf finished up their regular season with a solid record of 13-6. They are a contender as they look to have a good run in the final tournament Thursday October 12.

Both Varsity soccer teams went on the road to Woodsville to play in their last regular season away game. The girls scratched out a 3-2 win and played excellent against one of the best opponents in their division. The boys played very well, one of the best games that they have had against Woodsville in recent years, they won with a convincing score of 4-0.
