The Littleton High School Baseball and Softball teas were ready for their first home games against Colebrook Friday April 13. The Baseball team has started off great as they came into this game with a lot of confidence. Derek Walker took the mound for the first 5 and Lucas Bray followed up for the sixth inning as they both shutout the Colebrook Mohawks. Littleton’s offense is doing great as well, they scored 10 runs making the final score of the game 10-0. Littleton Softball played an exceptional game against the Mohawks as well. They just could not put up any runs. Colebrook softball played impressive defense in shutting out the Lady Crusaders, and they put across 5 runs. The final score was Colebrook 5 Littleton 0.

The Littleton High School Tennis teams both played matches on a busy Friday April 13. The Littleton Girls traveled all the way to play Prospect Mountain. The girls had a tough match in which they lost 5-4. The boys on the other hand had a very different match as they won 8-1 over Prospect Mountain. The Littleton girls then had a home game against Moultonborough Wednesday, April 18. The boys game got postponed but the girls still played as they won 6-3. With one of the Littleton players being late to the game they shuffled around their doubles teams and won both doubles match. Currently the girls are 3-2 and the boys are 2-1.

Both the Littleton Baseball and Softball teams played Lisbon Wednesday, April 18. With all this harsh weather the Remich park field is unusable so the game was played in Lisbon instead of Littleton as it was scheduled. Littleton Softball was looking for their first win this year as they were 0-2 going into this game. They played well and scored a bunch of runs. Alexis Sparks had a 2 run double in the top of the 7th that put the Crusaders up by 4 to seal the game as the Crusaders won 10-6. The Littleton Boys also won their game. The Littleton Boys had a slower day on the bats then usual. Jacob Allaire got the Littleton boys going with a 2-run homerun to left field. After that Littleton scored a few more runs and shutout Lisbon with a score of 10-0. That is the third shutout in a row by Littleton this season as no one has scored a run on them yet.
